Description: Senecio crassissimus, also known as Vertical Leaf Senecio, is a perennial subshrub that can grow up to 24 inches (60 cm) in height and 18 inches (45 cm) in width. Its stems are thick, erect, and purplish green. Senecio crassissimus has leaves that are long, flat, waxy and grey-green in color with vibrant purple edges. From mid-summer to fall, the plant produces bright yellow daisy-like flowers from stalks that are up to 2 feet (60 cm) tall

Light: Full sun to Light shade.

Soil: Porous and well-drained potting soil. Replenish nutrients in the soil every now and then.

Water: Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Reduce watering to a minimum in the winter.

Fertilizer: Feed annually but lightly because too much fertilizer can cause etiolation.
